Care & Maintenance
PowerPro Ultra Cordless Clipper with No. 10 Blade
Remove hair and apply blade lube after each use
Can you use human clippers on horses?
Human hair is thin & easy to cut/clip/shave but horse hair is a lot thicker, sometimes oilier & needs much more power to get the job done. Even the so called trimmers for clipping facial hair & feathers are invariably not powerful enough to use on a horse.
Can you use sheep Clippers on horses?
Sheep clippers are different, as they have a totally different head and blade assy, which is totally unsuitable for horses, although I have seen some farmers use sheep clippers to clip up the backs of dirty cattle, because this operation tends to blunt blades very quickly.
Are cordless clippers worth it?
In relation to speed and power, cordless clippers can still be very powerful, but you may experience the power decreasing as the battery reaches the end of its charge. Batteries can lose their power over time, but they can be replaced once they stop holding their charge.
